Rules to be followed in the meeting
The following rules should be followed in the meeting –: (a) Everyone should stand up and show respect when the chairman enters the meeting room, (b) The chairman should show respect to the meeting and take his seat, (c) Adjournment of the meeting Other members should leave the meeting room only after the chairman has left the meeting, (d) Members participating in the meeting should speak by addressing the chairman and should speak standing unless the chairman orders otherwise, (e) They should speak only after the chairman gives time, (f) While the chairman is addressing the meeting, no member should leave his seat and listen carefully to what the chairman is saying, (g) walk between the chairman's seat and the member who is speaking and sit with his back to the chairman's seat, (h) interrupt any member while he is speaking or violate the dignity of the meeting. (i) Do not read books, newspapers or other documents on topics other than those directly related to the work of the meeting, and (j) Do not talk on the phone and record in the meeting room.
